It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy L. Wiser of Waverly, Illinois, born in Palmyra, Illinois, who passed away on May 4, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan L. Crum and Lula C. Eyer Crum; her husband Ernest Wiser; her children, Tom Wiser and April Wiser; her grandsons, Tim Rothe, Brian Courier and Matthew Walls; her great grandchildren, Olin and Rita Kingston; and her siblings, Mary Frances Hunt, Etta Frank, Ivan and Donald Crum.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Walls of Waverly, Debbie Rothe (Darrell) of Modesto, Michelle Wiser of Jacksonville and Deanna Courier of Waverly; and her sisters, Levina Bentley, Yvonne Turner and Luanne Rhymer. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren; sixty-three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Waverly Public Library or to Susan Walls for placement of a headstone and sent to Neece-Airsman-Hires Funeral Home, 349 E. Tanner, Waverly, Il. 62692.
