He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Copelin and Eileen Copelin; and his brother Ted Copelin. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hartman Springer; his sons, Eric Copelin (Emily) of Waverly and Brett Copelin (Niki) of Thayer; his stepchildren, Julie Springer of New Berlin and Adam Springer (Mollie) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Elyse, Eden and Emric Copelin; and his stepgrandchildren, Maddie, Ty, Beau Springer and Jake Cowman.
