He was predeceased by: his father Frank E. Burnett; his brother James; and his brothers-in-law, Allen Lovekamp and Donald Hale. He is survived by: his mother Helen Jean Wood Burnett of Auburn; and his siblings, Bonnie Lovekamp of Waverly, Barbara Hale of Springfield, Tammy Chrisler (John) of Auburn, William "Bud" Burnett (Wanda) of Waverly and Edward Burnett (Kathy) of Waverly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
