She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Nielsen and Katherine Nielsen; and her husband Harvey LaVerne Benedict. She is survived by: her children, Todd Benedict (Amy), Lee Benedict (Jackie) and Lynnette Adkins (Rick); her grandchildren, Evan Sims (Morgan), Coulson Sims (Taitum), Andrew Benedict and Jacob Benedict; her great grandchildren, Braelynn Sims and Kinsley Sims; and her brother Bill Nielsen (Dee). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
