He is survived by: his wife Dr. Harlene (Ricks); his children, Matthew Eliot (Erica) of Gurnee, IL and Rochelle Lynee of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Jayden Matthew and Scarlett Grace; his sister Jacqueline Joanem (John); his niece Marlene Glover; his nephews, Michael Malone and Fernando Shipley; his mother-in-law Helen Ricks (Harvey); his siblings-in-law, Valerie Ricks and Wayne Ricks; and his close friends, Joyce Epperson, Gerald Coleman, Larnell Farmer, Greg Holmon, Greg Jones, Dexter Reid, Vic Montano and Ken. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
