It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Jackson in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruebn Beasley and Lillie Belle Hendon (Peete); and her siblings, Samuel R. Beasley Jr., Ruffin Beasley, Cornell Beasley, Loachell Bankston, Willie Beasley, Leonard Beasley, Sallie Wesley and Katie Parks.
She is survived by: her daughter DeeArcy Jackson; her grandchildren, Jazimeine Staton and La'Royce Tanner; her great grandchildren, LeiLani and Ezekiel; and her close friend Mary. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Congdon & Co Funeral Directors (3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested plants.
