She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Simms and Mary Simms; her husband James H. Boyer; her children, Vickie and James; her grandson Andrew; and her great grandchild Amaya.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Hasten (Ralph) of Washington, IL, Lynne Kempf (Harold) of Garland, TX and Monica Cassidy (Edward). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
