William McGrann Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William McGrann of Washington, Illinois, born in Colchester, Illinois, who passed away on January 3, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William McGrann and Edna McGrann; his siblings, Melvin, Harold, Russell and Lila; and his wife Alice Lavene Millam.
He is survived by: his daughter Sana; his son-in-law Rick Becker of Washington; his granddaughters, Annie Wilson (Zak) of Jefferson City, MO and Emily Hampton (Pete) of Peoria; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Alex, Abram Wilson, Ben and Lilly Hampton; and his pet Frank.
Due to concerns over the current Covid surge, cremation rights have been accorded, and a celebration of Lyle's life will be held on or around his 100th birthday this summer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lyle's name to the Greater Peoria Honor Flight, PO Box 5072, Peoria, IL 61601.
