He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Riehl and Elizabeth Quetsch Riehl; his wife Bertha L. "Bertie" Sann; and his siblings, Clifford, Elroy, Robert and Margaret.
He is survived by: his son Dennis "Dennie" Riehl (Evelyn) of Washington; and his grandson Nathaniel Riehl (Kristina) of Bloomington.
Visitation with face coverings and social distancing will be from 4 to 6pm Monday, February 8, 2021 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Washington, with additional visitation from 10 to 11am Tuesday at the church prior to the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his church, or Lutheran Church Charities.
