He was predeceased by: his parents, David Bittle and Miriam Elizabeth Hill Ross; and his brothers, Roger and Ranny. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Lucille George; his children, Mary Beth Ross (Scott Hizey) of Washington, IL and David B. Ross (Elizabeth) of Rio Rancho, NM.; his grandchildren, Reid B. Ross and Elizabeth Ann Hizey; and his sisters, Jean Tucker (Frank) of Pittsburgh, PA and Darlene Delano (Oscar) of Bowie, MD..
