We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Mary Kerr of Washington, Illinois, born in Macomb, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carle R. Jr. Crabb and Martha Crabb (Lewis); her husband Richard Kerr of Washington; her sons, Andrew Kerr (Rachel) of Macomb and Mark; her grandchildren, Catherine of Lawrence, Elizabeth of Washington, Julius of Miami, Máiri-Lee and Jaek-Lee of Almaty, Kazakhstan; and her siblings, John R. Crabb, David T. Crabb Sr., Merle L. Crabb, Lida Jane Reeder, Carle R. Crabb III and Daniel P. Crabb. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Due to COVID-19, the family is postponing the Celebration of Life Service for Mary, which will be announced at a later time.

“Mary and I were partners on the Debate Team at Western High School. We also were both part of a group of youth who were active at Wesley Methodist Church, and shared in many activities together. She was one of the brightest women I ever had the privilege of knowing, and I will miss her. May she rest in peace, and rise in glory! Dr. Alan L. Newhall”
