It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leon D. Smiens of Washington, Illinois, born in Luverne, Minnesota, who passed away on October 17, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Smiens and Dorothy Vogt Smiens; his wife Sharon Rooney; and his daughter Tammy Long. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Pfister (John) of Creve Coeur, Rhonda Kennel (Bryant) of Washington and Jeff Smiens (Therese) of Northfield, MN. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two brothers and one sister.
