He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Lester Strantz and Marguerite Elliott Strantz; his wife Wilma Hunzicker; his siblings-in-law, Sam Wagner and Judy Strantz; and his nephew John Howarter.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Harold Hunzicker (Phyllis) of Salem, IL, Lyle Hunzicker of Washington and Marlene Wagner of Washington; and his nieces and nephews, Kim Heap (James), Teri Cagle, Gwen Howarter, Bond Wagner, Jana Hunzicker (Greg Wilson), Jody Hunzicker, Jeff Hunzicker, Sarah Oppe (Shaun), Selena Armstrong, Michelle Koester (Hank), Mark Hunzicker (Jennifer), Amanda Birch, Sue Fellows (Don) and Kathy Burt (Mike Hatch).
