Karl K. Taylor Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Karl K. Taylor (Washington, Illinois), born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 85, on September 5, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Karl K. Taylor to show support.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Karl may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Taylor and Edna Thurman Taylor; and his wife Nancy L. Coon. He is survived by: his children, David Karl (Gail) of Pekin, Andrea Johnson (Eric) of Morton and Amy Steinbruecker (Kirk) of Addison.

He joined the Elmwood Community Foundation and used his remarkable people skills to work with the Peoria YMCA and Graham Hospital to make this dream come to life.
