He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Larkin and Inez Childers (Williams); his wife Dorothy Mae Lee; his brother Donald Childers; and his sister-in-law Nellie Childers.
He is survived by: his children, Terry L. Childers (Dorothy) and Pamela R. Ristau (Steve); his grandsons, Benjamin Childers, Brian Childers and Kenneth Ristau; and his brother Bill Childers (Connie). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
