It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Aschenbrenner of Washington, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Aschenbrenner and Lillian Nafzinger Aschenbrenner; his wife Phyllis M. Knapp; his daughters, Michelle Respicio (Brian) of Apple Valley, MN and Jennifer Glad (Scott Waldon) of Creve Coeur, IL; his stepdaughters, Kay Curley (Tim) of Goodfield, IL and Brenda Dallas (Ben) of Osage Beach, MO.; his brother Russell Aschenbrenner of Sunnyland, IL.; his daughter Angela Aschenbrenner; and his sister Donna Wind. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
In lieu f of flowers, memorials in his name may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
