It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene A. King of Washington, Illinois, born in Caraway, Arkansas, who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie P. King and Verlia Mae Cox King; and his sister Irene. He is survived by: his wife Sharon R. Webb; his sons, John King (Suzie), Brian King (Ginenne) and Brett King (Jodi Roach); his grandchildren, Tania, Lisa, Glenn, Jessica, Autumn, Zoie and Sophie; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Kiyana, Isaiah, Naomi, Victoria and Madison; and his siblings, Bettye Leonard, Donald King (Becky) and Clifton King (Wilma).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Ark Humane Society in Lacon or American Heart Association.
