She was predeceased by: her son James. She is survived by: her parents, James O. Ward and Joyce E. Gullett Ward of Washington; her husband James M. Shaver of Washington; her children, Mathew Shaver of Washington and Hayden Shaver (Nadia) of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Alexis and Stella; and her siblings, Julie Lewis (Tom) of Kentucky, Sharon Spillman (Scott) of Seattle, Rick Ward (Kelley) of East Peoria and Sandy Davis (Joe) of Washington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
