It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Lee Braddy of Walnut Hill, Illinois, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Kevlin and Evelo Lucille Braddy (Lane); his sister Lois Kaufman; and his sister-in-law Sandra Braddy. He is survived by: his wife Marie Braddy of Walnut Hill; his children, David Braddy (Roberta), James Braddy (Lynda), Dennis Braddy (Anita), Jerry Braddy (Alayna) and Dana Mullens (Chad); and his brother Kenneth Paul Braddy. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
In accordance with current guidelines, attendance is limited to 50 people at a time, and attendees are asked to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to either the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association, and will be accepted at the service, or by mail to the Osborn Funeral Home, P.O. Box 130, Dix, Illinois 62830.
