He is survived by: his children, Kevin Batson of Walnut Hill and Sheryl Powenski (David) of Centralia; his stepsons, James Starner of Granite City and Robert Starner of Sadalia, Missouri; his grandchildren, Angela Sue Keiffer (Bobby) of Nashville, Christopher Batson of Nashville, Zackery Kabat of Nashville, Sarah Raymer (Doug) of Connecticut, Andrew Kabat of Nashville, Gavin Batson of Walnut Hill and Maelynn Batson of Walnut Hill; and his great grandchildren, Cody Keiffer, Rheanna, Autum Keiffer and Riley Raymer.
