It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Lechner (Virden, Illinois), who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Lechner and Mildred Lechner; his wife Mary Lou Dunlap; and his close friend Geraldine Walls. He is survived by: his brother Tony Lechner (Velma) of Edwardsville, IL; his children, Michael Lechner (Dondi) of Virden and Ruth Ann Stewart (Roger); his close friend Dollie McCue; and his grandchildren, Jarod, Jason, Justin, Ryan, Suzanne, Jenna and Gracie. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
