She was predeceased by: her parents, George Fuiten and Leona Gibson Fuiten; her husband Robert McGown; and her sons, Michael, Terry and Robin.

She is survived by: her sons, Jon Ed and Steve McGown; and her pet Ike. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren.
