With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Stead (Viola, Illinois), who passed away on December 17, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Richard and Ila Maxine Overfield Creek; her former husband Jay Utz of Kellogg; her siblings, Stanley, Sam, Wally, Phillip Creek and Doris Creek Nichols; and her great grandchild Posie Utz.
She is survived by: her sons, Floyd Richard (Joyce), Randall Wayne and Robert Kevin Utz (Emelyne); her husband Jerry Dean Stead of Viola; her stepchildren, Sharon Marie and Joseph Dean Stead; her children, Randy Utz (Sharon), Sharon Tahere (John) and Joe Stead (Tracy); her daughter-in-law Kim Utz; her siblings, Dave Creek (Laura), John Creek (Becky), Paul Creek (Anita), Ethel Creek Conard (Owen) and Mary Creek Shaw (Rick); her sisters-in-law, Gean Creek and Shirley Creek; her cousin Shirley; and her caregiver Doctors.
Memorials may be left to the Viola Fire Department or the Alzheimer's Association.
