We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Elaine Peterson of Viola, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Anderson and Lorene Fisher Anderson; her husband Harry D. Peterson; her daughter Shan; and her brothers, Larry, Carl and Don Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Darla Handsaker (Robbie) of Nevada, Dara Carr (Mick) of Cambridge and Darin Peterson (Christi) of Overland Park, Kansas; and her brother Gale Anderson of Preemption, Illinois.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Per state mandates and the family's wishes… masks will be required and social distancing encouraged within the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Preemption United Methodist Church or Viola Fire Department.
