With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Ormiston in Urbana, Illinois, born in Witt, Illinois, who passed away on March 15, 1996 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Rushford and Rose Rushford (Sellett); and her brothers, Dr. Gene Rushford, Dr. Lou Rushford and Dr. Irwin Rushford.
She is survived by: her husband Emmett E. Ormiston "Ormy"; and her sons, George E. Ormiston of Villa Rica, Fred I. Ormiston of Montgomery, Alex, Steve and Mark. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
