He was predeceased by: his mother Loretta Hardiek (Niemerg). He is survived by: his father Donald Hardiek of Bishop Creek; his wife Karla Koester of Teutopolis; his children, Jarrett of Teutopolis, Josh of Teutopolis, Julia of Teutopolis and Justin of Teutopolis; and his sisters, Ruth Dust (Dan) and Sharon Westendorf (Mark).
