With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sterling Edward Ersery of Taylorville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fern Ersery (Burkett) and Raymond E. Ersery; his granddaughters, Emmah and Ellah Guyer; his siblings, Raylene Hammond and James H. Ersery; his nephew Jeff Hammond; and his great-niece Tasha McCluskey.
He is survived by: his children, Deanna Coleman (James) of Kane, IL, Dana Amos (Jim) of Taylorville, IL, Debra Neisler (David) of Chatham, IL and Daniel Ersery (Ginny) of Hannibal, MO. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
