It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delorse Cecelia Drone (Tallula, Illinois), born in Shawneetown, Illinois, who passed away on December 11, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bryan and Veronica Amelia Smith (Deitz); and her brothers, Walter, Andrew and William Smith.
She is survived by: her spouse Dennis Wilfred Drone; her children, Catherine Schuyler of Fancy Prairie, IL, Denise Peters (Steve) of Farmington, IL, Steve Drone (Karen) of Jamestown, TN, Kelly Drone of Springfield, IL, Michael Drone of Cantrall, IL and Leigh Anne Cheek of Jacksonville, IL; and her siblings, Mary Willett of Smithton, IL, Virginia Quinn of Sturgis, KY, George Smith (Thelma) of Arizona and Harold Smith of Shawneetown, IL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
