She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvie Chapman and Daisey Chapman (Yelton); and her husband Earl M. "Skeezix" Adkisson. She is survived by: her sons, William Adkisson (Liz) of Wimberley, TX, Ronald Adkisson of Tuscola, Dennis Adkisson (Connie) of Alvin, TX and Steve Adkisson (Kathy) of Hammond. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
