He is survived by: his wife Ellen Batorson of Sugar Grove; his children, Dan Burgess of Rockford, IL, Joel Batorson (Gretchen) of Carol Stream, Corey Frieders of Batavia and Danya Smith (Benji) of Sugar Grove, IL; his sister Linda Christman (Jim); his nephew Larry Christman (Lisa); his grandchildren, Eddie Burgess, Lindsay Martin, Quentinn Smith, Austin Burgess, Alyssa Burgess, Calista Smith, Anthony Burgess, Madeline Batorson, Keagan Frieders, Elijah Smith, Isaac Burgess, Elliott Batorson and Evan Frieders; his great grandchild Ivy Burgess; and his children-in-law, Brad Frieders and Tami Burgess.
