He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bernard, Mary Wheatley, Harold and Mary McAvoy; his uncles, Jack and Don Wheatley; his father-in-law Ralph Chambers, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Steven Chambers.
He is survived by: his parents, Robert Wheatley and Barbara Wheatley (McAvoy) of Springfield; his wife Cheryl Chambers of Sugar Grove; his children, Austin and Madelyn of Sugar Grove; his brothers, Jeffrey of Deerfield and Stephen Wheatley (Shannon) of Edinburg; his aunts, Judith Eisenhut of Indianapolis, IN, Nancy Schneeman of Pontiac, Dianne Martin of Port St and Linda Lamberton of Crossville, TN; his mother-in-law Carolyn Chambers of Springfield; his siblings-in-law, Ralph Chambers III (Jenny) of Mechanicsburg, Michael Chambers (Tracey) of Athens and Pam Chambers; and his nieces and nephews, Dylan, Brooke Wheatley, Zachary, William, Kaleb, Delayne, Macey, Luke Chambers (Amanda) and Tricia Ulery (Richie).
