He was predeceased by: his father Ervin A. Schultz; his parents-in-law, Everett and Lydia Kessler; and his brothers-in-law, Billy Durbin and Melvin Jones.
He is survived by: his mother Eva Marie Schultz (Rincker) of Stewardson; his wife Kay Arlene Kessler; his children, Brian Ronald Schultz (Nola) of Stewardson, Katie Arlene Durbin (Jason) of Strasburg and Christy Ann Goble (Andrew) of Stewardson; his grandchildren, Austin Brian Schultz (Mikaela), Courtney Sue Cole (Hayden), Brinlie Elise, Brilynn Kayde Durbin and Tessa Kay Goble; his great grandchildren, Kase Austin, Lane Brian, Raylen Ann Schultz, Jaxon Ronald, Radley Brian and Kip Hayden Cole; his siblings, Ruthann Nichols (Danny) and Jeff Schultz (Janet); and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Kessler, Joyce Little (Ray), Donna Bales and Kathy Wyckoff (Steve). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran School or Trinity Lutheran Church Endowment Fund and mailed to 302 W. Main St., Shelbyville, IL 62565.
