He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor H. Brelje and Dorothy Neuling Brelje; his son Brian Brelje; his stepgrandson Ernie Chasteen; and his daughter-in-law Judy Brelje.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Brelje of Steeleville; his sons, David Brelje of Waltonville and Bruce Brelje (Tammy) of Waltonville; his grandchildren, Nicholis and Kadon; his stepgranddaughter Opal; his stepgreat-granddaughter Hannah; his great great grandchild Nova; and his brother Dale Brelje (Mary Ann) of Maryville, IL..
Memorials may be given St. Mark's Lutheran Church or St. Mark's Lutheran School.
