It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda K. Thies of Steeleville, Illinois, born in Chester, Illinois, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gussie Henry and Dorothy M. Brueggemann Gerlach; her husband Gary Thies; and her niece Melissa Sauerwein. She is survived by: her daughter Dena Schlimme of Sparta; her granddaughters, Brittany, Emily and Hannah Schlimme; her great grandchildren, Landon and Lawson; her brother Glenn Gerlach (Mary Lynn) of Steeleville; and her nephews, Garrett Gerlach (Rich) and Andy Gerlach (Ali).

By executive order, we are limited to 25 people in the building at any one time with face masks and social distancing being followed.

Memorials may be given to an Educational Fund for her great grandchildren.
