It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Ann Wedemeyer (Steeleville, Illinois), born in Red Bud, Illinois, who passed away on May 10, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Ohlau and Viola Hornbostel Ohlau; her stepfather Robert W. Koch; and her brother Thomas Wayne Ohlau. She is survived by: her husband Ray Wedemeyer of Steeleville; her children, Troy Wedemeyer (Glenda) of Marion, Deanna Davis (Ryan) of West Frankfort, IL and Kevin Wedemeyer (Cristy) of Coulterville, IL; and her brother Allan Ohlau (Cathy) of Coulterville. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, private graveside services will be held at Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Steeleville, with Minister Deb Rathert officiating.
Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church "We Care Program" or Phil's Friends, a cancer support group.
