William Joseph Eck Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2024, at the age of 90, William Joseph Eck of Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell W. Eck and Amelia A. Kempen Eck; his wife Carol C. Sherrock; his son William "Billy" Eck II; his siblings, Anna Marie Sandhaas, James Eck and Mary Kern; and his daughter-in-law Nancy Eck.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Sharp (John) of Springfield, Tom Eck of Springfield and Janice Stockus (Greg) of Riverton; and his grandchildren, Brian Stockus of Riverton and Morgan Welch (Ryan) of Palmyra. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy.
