Wayne Brown Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2024, at the age of 93, Wayne Brown of Springfield, Illinois, born in Clay, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol Brown and Jewel Brown (Vaughn); his wife Marianne Leon; his stepsons, Roy Leon and Kevin Leon; and his siblings, William Brown and Jeanette Burkett.

He is survived by: his children, Douglas W. Brown (Kim) of Springfield and Dana Homann (Ron) of Springfield; his stepdaughters-in-law, Kelly Leon and Karole Leon; his grandchildren, Jenna Davlin (Ryan), Cory Brown (Taylor), Connor Homann, Ryan Brown (Danielle), Rachael Homann, Sara Crow (Seth), Aidan, Cheyenne Leon, Zachary and Shelby Leon; and his sister Wanda Stott of Athens. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
