She was predeceased by: her parents, Vester Huffines and Gladys Huffines (Andrews); her husband Lyle Curtis Klay; her son Steven Curtis Klay; her brother Herbert; and her great grandchild Lily Renee Klay.
She is survived by: her son Rick Klay (Nancy) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Kurtis Klay (Antonette) of Lee's Summit, Jared Klay of Springfield, Ethan Klay of Springfield, Emily Klay of Normal and Anderson Klay (Heather Downey) of Normal; her great grandchildren, Owen Klay and Riley Klay; and her brother Floyd "Bud" Huffines (Sue) of Edinburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Stonington United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
