He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bodewes of Springfield; his children, Ann Stephens (Mike) of St. Louis, MO, Christine Bodewes of Nairobi, Karen Bodewes (Kate Kent) of Springfield, Joe Bodewes (Molly) of Durango, CO, Ted Bodewes of Berwyn, IL and Andrew Bodewes (Nicole Livanos) of Naperville, IL; his grandchildren, Will Bodewes, Truman Stephens, Luke Bodewes, Mitchell Stephens (Clare), Noah Bodewes, Meta Stephens, Kristina Bodewes and Lana Bodewes; his great grandchild Dominic Stephens; and his brother Paul Bodewes of Mascoutah, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
