As Denise departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Denise. Though Denise may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her parents, Dennis Engle and Susan Flanagan Engle of Peoria Heights; her sister Jennifer Walter (Todd) of Morton; her grandmother Rachel Hosick of Springfield; and her pets, Lucy, Peanut, Molly and Charlie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
