He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelina Barber and Charles M. Barber; and his brother Daniel D. Barber. He is survived by: his wife Christine Barber; his children, Charles B. Barber (Carla) of Taylorville, IL, Matthew G. Barber (Mary) of Chicago, IL, Amanda C. Meek of Springfield, IL and Natalie M. Eson (Ben) of Springfield, IL; his grandsons, David, Michael, Adam, Jacob, Joseph, William and Frederick; his pet Chachi; and also Paul Rose.
