It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Miles Adrian Thompson (Skokie, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 8, 2021, at the age of 18, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Marc Thompson (Sonya Anderson) and Laurie Streeter Cooper; his stepfather Michael Cooper; his siblings, Andrew, Jonah and Jaida; his grandfather Lawrence Streeter; and his uncles, Lyle Nettles and Akin Sapara. He is also survived by cousins, extended family, friends, teammates, neighbors and classmates.

COVID-19 derailed the St. Ambrose season, so Miles deferred his freshman year and worked full time at Waterways Car Wash.
