It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome R. Oakes (Skokie, Illinois), born in Evanston, Illinois, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Oliver J.; his wife Sandra; his children, Oliver David Oakes, Jennifer Altreuter, Jerome Peter and Christian Joseph Oakes; his stepchildren, Leah Vinik (Michael), Dean Malito (late Lisa), Darla Caputo (Scott) and Holly Pickens (Steve); and his siblings, Marie Oakes (Gerald Hadder), Eileen Fenner (Dan) and James Oakes (Kathy).
