She was predeceased by: her father Peter; her husband Charles; and her siblings, Rose Loewe, Katherine McEvilly, Agatha Ziegler, Annie Anderson, John "Pete" Merkle, Jacob Merkel and Leo Merkel.
She is survived by: her children, David and Donna Rose Scherrer; her grandchildren, Michael (Courtney) and Nicole Scherrer; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Amelia and Jameson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
