He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Halsey and Hattie Halsey; his wife Katherine Wilson; and his son Randy. He is survived by: his granddaughter Linda; his daughter Linda; his grandson Alex; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Halsey of California, Larry Wilson (Lola) of Viola and Bev Rice of Silvis.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Heritage Mission Fund or Gideon's International.
