He is survived by: his children, Frank Kruse (Bob) of Tigar, OR, Vernon Kruse (Fern) of Lanark, IL, Mark Kruse (Terri) of Lebanon, IL and Kimberly Ferris (John) of Lanark, IL; his grandchildren, Timothy Kruse of Milwaukee, WI, Karel Leiper (Jered) of Freeport, IL, Joshua Kruse of Lanark, IL, Theresa Brugger (Travis) of Oak Creek, WI, Rachael Kruse (Cody Terry) of Lebanon, IL and Katelyn Kruse of Lebanon, IL; his great grandchild Bethany Leiper; and his siblings, Mabel Hasbrouck (Leroy), Ethel Smith and Harold Kruse. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
