He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Murvin Valentine and Catherine Valentine (Clark); his wife Joy Metz; his children, Jeff of Champaign and Diane of Danville; and his grandson Kyle (Laura) of Tennessee. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
