He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herman L. Snyder and Bernice McKee Snyder; his wife Doris Lautner of Champaign, IL; his brothers, David Snyder (Ellen) of Baton Rouge, LA and Ernie Snyder (Charla) of Scottsdale, AZ; his children, Herman Snyder (Laurie) of West Lafayette, IN and Catherine Mueller (Chris) of Easton, PA; and his grandchildren, Jacob Snyder of Villa Park, IL, Megan Snyder of Nashville, TN, Matthew and Samantha Mueller of Easton, PA.
