It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Murdock of Savanna, Illinois, born in Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil "Whitey" and Elizabeth Murdock (Schmarge); and his brothers, Randy, Jeff and Jerry.
He is survived by: his close friend Pat; his partner Pat Guertin of Atalissa; his children, Dusty Murdock (Robert Johnson) of Maquoketa, Brandi Murdock of Savanna and Jeremy Steckman of Muscatine; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Murdock, Adrian Martinez, Colton Martinez, Jayden Martinez and Xaiver Murdock; and his sisters, Kay Miller (William) of Muscatine, Susan Davis (Charles) of Green River, WY and Shirley Freeman of Rock Springs, WY..
