We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2025, at the age of 64, Cheryl Lynn Parent of San Jose, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Cheryl Lynn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Cheryl Lynn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene "Ronald" Foltz and Nancy Foltz (Antrim); and her great grandchild River. She is survived by: her children, Vanessa Kelsey (Tyler) of Mason City, Michael Parent (Jaime) of Pennsylvania, Derek Butler (Heather) of San Jose and Jason Burmaster of Mason City; and her sister Rebecca Strickland of South Carolina. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
